Pentridge Prison Precinct Tour

The Pentridge Prison Precinct Tour will encompass not only the infamous H Division, but also the surrounding precinct where visitors can learn about the ever-changing landscape of the Prison, including sections not usually included on public tours.

Join one of Pentridge Prison Tours experienced guides on a 2-hour walking tour of the former Pentridge Prison site.

From the Traditional Owners of the Land to the current Community Precinct we see today, the tour will show many sides to Pentridge and how it has changed over time.

The tour includes areas not usually shown on public tours, and will be an opportunity to see up close some lesser-known sites and learn about the history that goes with them. The tour will conclude inside H-Division, known as one of Australia’s harshest prison wings.

Spaces on these tours are limited. Be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes.
