Learn how to make ceramic flowers that you can display in your home

In this fun workshop, you will be guided through the basic process of making your own clay ornamental flowers and roses from scratch. You will learn about the slab building method and get hands-on making six ceramic ornamental flowers. Inspired by the beautiful Samson House in Fremantle.

Inspired by the beautiful gardens of Samson House we will be making up to 6 roses (or flowers) using earthenware clay. I will show you how to roll out your clay, add texture and make them viable and waterproof.
You can use these flowers to display in a vase, outside in the garden or even give them as gifts for your loved ones.
In this 3 hour class we will be making your flowers from scratch using the slab building method followed by painting and drying. I will take your creations away where they will be fired at my home studio in Coolbellup and then ready for collection.
Collection of your pottery will be two weeks after your class.
