HISTORY OF FAMILIES WHOSE COTTAGES ARE AT THE AUSTRALIANA PIONEER VILLAGE

Step back in time and look through our Cottages from the 19th Century, we will have the family history to look at on the majority of our Cottages. There is also a Post Office, Police Station and Bank to go through with artifacts from the 1800s.

The Cottages at The Australiana Pioneer Village are the original homes from around the Hawkesbury Valley and one Cottage is from Pennant Hills.

You are able to walk into the Cottages and soak up the history of yesteryear and learn about the Pioneer Families that lived in these Cottages. There will also be other buildings such as Riverstone’s first Police Station, first Post Office from Sackville North and the Bank of Australasia.

Our Volunteers dress up in 19th Century clothing to make our visitors have a more authentic visit to our Village and are happy to talk about the Cottages and answer questions
