Heritage Walks of Wyong

Discover the unique history of Wyong by taking an easy paced walking tour around the town centre. Our experienced and knowledgeable guides will both educate and entertain you.

Who doesn’t love a free event? if you are interested in local history and have an hour and a half to spare, then this is the activity for you. Wyong township was established in 1887, with the extension of the railway from Sydney to Newcastle. There are many historic buildings to admire and our guides have lots of interesting stories to tell about some of the local characters who helped establish this town. Talks start at 11am and conclude about 12.30pm. Bookings can be made via Central Coast Council on 02 4306 7900 during business hours.
