Haberfield Heritage Garden Walk

The Heritage Suburb is opening winnning gardens to view as part of our Garden Celebration this autumn.

The Heritage Walk will take in winning gardens , streetscapes and open houses to celebrate the historic garden suburb concept which Haberfield portrays as one of the earliest examples in the world which can still be seen today.
Author Vincent Crow OAM will lead the walk who is well known in heritage circles through his writing & knowledge particularly on the suburb of Haberfield & the garden suburb.

This address is close to the Haberfield Shopping Centre , 200 mts from Cnr of Ramsay & Dalhousie St heading north along Dalhousie past the Haberfield Library & St Oswald Church to the next corner which is Deakin opposite the Catholic Church.
Catch 438X & 437 Buses to Haberfield shops, 406 from Ashfield Station. Light Rail stops Hawthorn or Marion then 400 mt walk.

Being a walk suitable walking clothing , protection from weather & hydration is required. Cost of event covers tour notes and afternoon tea at the end of the event to share the experience of the afternoon & rest after the walk.
