Are you looking to research your family history but not sure where to begin? Join the Local History Librarian for an interactive, hands-on session where you learn to use Ancestry.com and other research resources.

Are you looking to research your family history but not sure where to begin? Then this hands-on, interactive session might be for you. Join the Local History Librarian at the Karratha Library, in a small class environment, to learn the basics of researching your family history.

Participants will be provided with their own laptop and guided through how to use ancestry.com, Trove and other online research tools. Handouts and training notes will also be provided. The session will conclude with a class discussion and reflection on learnings. Laptops provided.

Suitable for ages 16+
Basic computer skills required
