Audit Finance & Governance
The Committee assists Council with meeting its fiducial obligations through the monitoring and management of NTSA finances, investments, governance and audit requirements.
Collection and Regions & Branches
The Collections Committee provides the NTSA Council with advice on matters to do with the Trust’s holdings of movable cultural heritage and with the development of appropriate collection management policies. It also advises on the rationalisation and care of collections, and on training in collection management by volunteers.
The Regions & Branches Committee is established by Council to ensure matters relating to the Regions and Branches are able to be discussed in full and recommendations brought to Council for consideration and decision.
Cultural Heritage Advisory
The Committee provides comment on Commonwealth, State and Local Government policies and projects affecting the heritage of the State and proposes actions to Council for approval where relevant. It also develops policies and strategies for conservation.
Natural Heritage Advisory
The Committee works with Natural Heritage Manager overseeing the management of NTSA nature reserves in the Mount Lofty Ranges, Murraylands, Riverland, and Yorke Peninsula. The committee discuss broader natural heritage issues, makes submissions and advises NTSA on natural heritage matters generally
