Unearthing Memories of Childhood and the Gold Rush

Unearthing childhood memories of Punch & Judy, toy theatres, magic lantern shows and puppets, tea parties, flower pressing, painting and reading.
Together with a photographic exhibition of the development of mining in Adelong and models of machinery used during the gold rush.

After visiting the museum and strolling through our historic township, cross the swing bridge and take the walk along the creek to the Adelong Falls and the archeological site of the Reefer Battery. Along the way you will be able to see the sculptures which are part of the Snowy Valleys Sculpture Trail which begins in Adelong and runs through the Snowy Valleys to Tooma.
