Sutherland Shire Citizens’ Heritage Festival

There will be lots of variety with what the Sutherland Shire has to show to connect and preserve our history.
From Loftus, Sutherland, Kirawee, Gymea to Cronulla, Kurnell and The Royal National Park there will be something for everyone to see.

Take a trip on the free vintage bus to explore the Woronora Memorial Gardens where there will be lots to see and do.
Learn about how our heritage buildings are being restored when you visit the Brinsley’s Joinery work shop.
Visit the beautiful historic Hazelhurst Galleries and gardens and join the Yarning Circle to listen to Indigenous stories
Look at the Brick Pitt Museum and visit the Creative Arts display in the Village Shopping centre.
The Sydney Tram and Bus museum at Loftus will be holding special displays.
The combined Cronulla Surf Clubs will be organising a special historical photographic display.
Visit the School of Arts and enjoy a self guided walk around the Cronulla area or enjoy a relaxing morning tea cruise aboard the historic “Tom Thumb”
There will also be concerts by the Sutherland Music Club and the Southern Brass Band.
Guided walks with NPA guides, and The meeting of Two Cultures at Kurnell.
