Stuart Town’s Man From Ironbark Festival
Stuart Town, formerly known as Ironbark is famous for Banjo Patterson's poem "Man From Ironbark'. Easter Saturday the village will be paying homage to Banjos poem by staging the Man From Ironbark Festival.
The Man From Ironbark Festival will feature many market stall and displays. Free children rides and activities and sheep dog trials. The beards will be flowing at Ironbark this year with the not to be missed Beard Competition as well as a Best Mullett Comp. There will be plenty of live music to keep you entertained.
Of course, the festival pays homage to Bajo Patterson’s famous poem and three-time Australian Bush Poet Champion Gregory Noth will be on hand reciting many of Banjos poems. The historic Boehms Hall will be open where the local CWA ladies will be on hand to show people around. Up at the Old Railway Hotel, another historic building, there will be an Art Exhibition.
Staged on the Stuart Town Recreation Ground, the 2025 Stuart Town Man From Ironbark Festival is a family day not to be missed.
