Step back in time……

Are you part of Melbourne's elite? For one afternoon step back in time and enjoy this fabulous bayside retreat at Black Rock House. A visit will be very special to you, your friends and family. You will be warmly greeted by costumed volunteer guides who will share the myths and legends of days gone by.

We welcome you to enjoy a costumed guided tour of the house, tearoom, stables, servants quarters and much more. Listen to the stories of past residents and learn of the spirit residents still residing to this date. Hear about the interesting visitors who have rested their weary heads overnight on their trek from the peninsula to the shady streets of Melbourne. Once your tour has completed, be tempted by our delectable Devonshire Tea in Tamar’s Tearoom, seating can also be found in the stables for those with four legged friends. Enjoy the shady Morton Bay Fig gardens and immerse yourself in the era with our antique furniture and costumes reflecting the story of the house. A puzzle for you, 3 Morton Bay Fig seeds were planted at the property of Black Rock House in 1856 – where is the third tree?
**No booking required for tours however, we do ask you to email to book for Devonshire Tea.
