Art, heritage and architecture are showcased in this immersive and unique personal tour of one of Perth’s finest historic mansions. Subiaco has one of the best-preserved collections of domestic stained glass and leadlight in the world. It was an early form of street art where the emerging middle-class expressed their wealth through ornamentation. Fairview, built in 1915 for a Scottish Ice Engineer at the peak of his career running the Perth Ice Works has some of the most notable examples highlighted in a stunning renovation. Tour numbers will be limited to personalise the tour and allow for lots of interaction and questions. Book as a single or small group. Following each tour, Thomas’s book on his private art collection will be available for purchase and signing and refreshments will be provided, where you can mingle and chat with Thomas on a more informal basis.
