New England Autumn Garden Trail

The inaugural New England Autumn Garden Trail, organised by the New England Garden Festival (NEGF) team, will travel across five country towns in the beautiful New England region in five days, opening approximately 12 cold climate, private gardens highlighting glorious autumn colours to visitors.

Come & join the Autumn Garden Trail! Wherever and whenever you like! It starts in the gorgeous, bustling country town of Uralla. Three private, town gardens are waiting for you, along with a special opening of the photographically famous, Gostwyck Chapel. Venture on to Armidale, the highest city in Australia, home to historic cathedrals and a world class university. Do make sure you hop on board the Autumn Tree bus tour and visit the three large country gardens open just for you. The delightful country town of Guyra is your next stopover, highest town in the New England, famed for its potatoes and fat lambs and has such a vibrant community spirit. One town garden and two on the outskirts will beckon you to enjoy a little drive along country roads. The Celtic Festival is the highlight of your Glen Innes visit. If you have a kilt, bring it along & you’ll fit right in! Tenterfield is the finale of your Trail with three town gardens brimming in beauty and an informal end of Trail dinner.
