We have a great array of speakers including:
-Hawkesbury Sandstone. Professor Emeritus Bruce Thom, Australia’s leading coastal scientist. Lean about the geological wonders of Sydney, a fascinating social and environmental history.
-Public art and monuments overlooked. Tim Stakpool, Australian presenter. Artworks found in Sydney tell a story: exposes its past, recognises the present.
-Fungi of Sydney. Dr Anna Voytsekhovich, professional scientist, scientific and botanical artist. Learn about how fungi shape and transform environments, how they underpin the wellbeing of nearly all terrestrial ecosystems.
– Sydney Underworld. Elliot Lindsay, historian specialising in Sydney’s historical underworld and fringe communities. Hear about the ghastly crime scenes and stomping grounds of Sydney’s colourful gangs from the 1890s.
