Heritage Month Walk
We will walk through the Jarrahdale Heritage Park, learning about the timber history at various points through the area. We will show you interesting facts on the natural environment too. This walk is aimed at families - we will have activities for children to enjoy.
This heritage, family friendly, guided walk will meander through Jarrahdale’s Heritage Park. Your guide will carefully lead you through some spectacular scenery pointing out places of interest and show off some wonderful fauna. Our guide will tell tales of early days, of people living different ways, in tents and huts they could be found, near each mill, all bush around. Life was tough when working in the mills with families having it rough. Stories abound as you wander through the park. Rest stops will be arranged with tales of the beautiful surrounds told. Allow your mind to recreate and absorb the atmosphere as Jarrahdale touches your heart as memories unfold.
