Family History Training for Beginners
To celebrate the 2025 Australian Heritage Festival, the Local and Family History team will be offering training in Ancestry and FindMyPast genealogical databases. If you have ever wanted to research your family history but do not know where to start, come along and learn about resources and tools to get started.
Do you want to unearth your family history but are unsure where to start? In this training, we will teach you how to use online databases, Ancestry and FindMyPast, to start your research and expand your family story. To compliment this training, you will also learn how to keep your precious family mementos and photographs safe for future generations to enjoy.
