The tour itinerary below is quite comprehensive and takes us on a journey to experience the Nickel Boom from the mid/late 60’s, the Gold Mining of the famous Golden Mile and the adjoining regions including Kambalda and the Dundas Goldfield along with the Great Western Woodlands, the largest temperate intact woodland on the planet, and the area around Widgiemooltha (the scene like Kambalda of frantic exploration and drilling in the 60’s and even today!

May 17th and 18th 2025
Day 1 and 2 – Travel to the Goldfields

May 19th
Day 3 – “Golden Mile”

May 20th
Day 4 – Nickel Boom at Kambalda

May 21st
Day 5 – “The Old Camp” (Coolgardie)

May 22nd
Day 6 – Golden Eagle and Widgiemooltha for Gold and Nickel (Au and Ni)

May 23rd
Day 7 – Caves Hill, Woodlines and Sandalwood

May 24th
Day 8 – Norseman

May 25th
Day 9 – Dundas and Norseman

In summary the tour will include 4 nights in Kalgoorlie-Boulder, 2 nights around Widgie and 2 nights in Norseman
