Dark Sky Festival – Lord Howe Island
The Dark Sky Festival on Lord Howe Island has been developed in response to the growing popularity of Dark Sky Tourism across regional New South Wales. Renowned for its pristine waters and unspoiled skies, Lord Howe Island provides an exceptional setting for a variety of nocturnal experiences.
The festival offers an exciting lineup of events, designed to appeal to everyone.
Our Festival highlights include:

- Dark Sky Stargazing (Various Dates): Join expert astronomer Robert Brangwin on guided stargazing tours, using state-of-the-art telescopes to explore planets, stars, galaxies and more
- The Science Talks (April 27th and 28th): Join our expert panellists including Fred Watson OAM for thought-provoking discussions on topics such as dark sky preservation and the wonders of the universe.
