National Trust Tasmania is seeking an experienced marketing officer to develop and implement a marketing plan for Tasmania’s unique, new tourism attraction, the Convict Memorial.
The Convict Memorial at the heart of UNSHACKLED – Hobart Penitentiary brings together the stories of 75,000 men, women and children who were transported to Van Diemen’s land between 1803 and 1853. It is a revolutionary digital storytelling experience in one of Tasmania’s most important and unique convict sites.
We are looking for a marketing professional with experience in the tourism and/or heritage sectors who can forge productive relationships with other visitor attractions and develop opportunities for cross-promotion of sites and experiences. The position is offered on a short-term contract basis, initially for up to 3 months, for 2 – 3 days per week. The successful applicant will be able to take advantage of flexible hours, including the ability to work from home.
