RARE BOOK SEMINAR
Event Details:
Join us for this rare book seminar commencing at 9.30am on the 28th of October!
The event includes a lot of interaction, rare book knowledge and conservation advice from Amy Bartlett.
Over the course of the day the seminar will examine the value of rare books, preservation strategies and storage.
It also includes a look at collections within Tasmania and a tour of the Foot and Playsted bindery.
Speakers at the Seminar include:
Ian Boersma of Heritage Tasmania
Bob Broughton, Valuer and Archivist
Amy Bartlett, Paper Conservator
Launceston Library, Libraries Tasmania a site sponsor, will also share some of their rare book treasures.
