Archive and Research Services

The National Trust (NSW) manages an extensive archive of rare photographs, maps, letters, sound recordings and many other precious items. This immense archive is a window into the state’s history and the places we care for.

Our archive team collects, preserves and manages hundreds of thousands of items that record important events in NSW’s built, natural and cultural history, as well as detailed records of National Trust properties. These archives are available for public use and are now easily accessible online. New items are being continually added to this online collection. If you have any queries about items from the archive, please contact us via the form below. Search the full online collection on eHive.
