Every two years the National Trust elects a new council. This year is an election year and nominations will be called for the six general members to Council in July.
The NT National Trust Council is comprised of twelve volunteer members, six nominated by their branches and six general members who are elected through the biannual NT National Trust election process.
So, if you are interested in the preservation of the Built, Cultural and Environmental Heritage of Northern Australia and wish to contribute and feel that you have skills that would enhance the Trust, the time and passion then this may be an opportunity for you to become involved.
Note all positions on the NT Council will be declared vacant and the new Council Executive will be elected by the New Council.
Note the Council meets 4-6 times a year face to face and online.
