Swanpool Cinema is a community owned and operated entirely by volunteers. A special screening of a 1920's black and white movie will be shown with a tea, coffee and biscuits after the screening.

The Moorngag Cemetery has been in operating since 1884 and is the last resting place for an extraordinary group of people.

Visit Tatong, where a display in the Tatong Memorial Hall will show the history of this little town, including early farmers and timber felling in the hills, to a dash of Ned Kelly.

A presentation will be given on the history of the Benalla Airfield and its contribution to the war effort during World War 2, the life of service members on the Station, and a presentation of the historical exhibits present in the Museum. Members will be available to facilitate and answer questions, and close up activities around the Museum's air assets will be available.

Benalla cemetery holds the victims of horrific murders and tragic accidents. In its long history, the cemetery has seen it all – politicians, a famous poet, Australia’s first celebrity chef, and a famous sportsman as good as any who ever played. Last year during Heritage Week, we did part 1.

Benalla Cemetery contains them all - The Good who sought to improve the life of others and the community; the Bad who used their power and influence for their own immoral purposes; and it contains the truly Ugly.

Wilfred Arthur Baird was born in Benalla. He joined the Australian Flying Corps at Point Cook where he was an instrument fitter and air mechanic. In 1916 he enlisted and was sent to the Middle East where he served with distinction. On his return he joined fellow servicemen when QANTAS was formed.

This presentation by members of the Benalla Aboriginal History Group will explore the historical story of Aboriginal life, colonisation and frontier conflict in Benalla.

Freemasonry is a world wide organisation and Marangan Lodge has been part of the history of Benalla since 1871. The lodge building was built in 1904 and the main temple constructed in 1932. An ornate art deco ceiling in the main centre is a highlight of the building.

Moira Benalla Club are opening Moira House to the public to view. Please come along and have a wander around this magnificent building. Tea & Coffee will be available, and the bar will be open for drinks.
