CANCELLED – The Arthur Baird Story
Wilfred Arthur Baird was born in Benalla. He joined the Australian Flying Corps at Point Cook where he was an instrument fitter and air mechanic. In 1916 he enlisted and was sent to the Middle East where he served with distinction. On his return he joined fellow servicemen when QANTAS was formed.

Benalla Masonic Lodge – Open Day
Freemasonry is a world wide organisation and Marangan Lodge has been part of the history of Benalla since 1871. The lodge building was built in 1904 and the main temple constructed in 1932. An ornate art deco ceiling in the main centre is a highlight of the building.
