The Heights Heritage Skills & Traditions Autumn Fair

Step into history at The Heights Heritage Skills & Traditions Autumn Fair. Explore heritage gardens, discover traditional skills, and enjoy a relaxing autumn day in a stunning setting.

Enjoy live demonstrations and meet passionate artisans, including the Geelong Bee Keepers, Barwon Valley Woodwrights and the Hand Tool Preservation Society. Admire the delicate art of lace making with Geelong Lace Makers and witness a live painting conservation demonstration by Hidden Hands Workshop.

Wander through the beautiful gardens, first planted 170 years ago. Admire towering trees, heirloom vegetables, iris beds, and rare plants. See the work of dedicated volunteers who have cared for the garden for nearly four decades.

Browse the plant sale from The Heights Volunteer Gardening Team. Visit the National Trust Pop-Up Shop for heritage-inspired gifts and treasures.

Guided tours of the 1850s house will run throughout the day (additional cost applies).

No fair is complete without tea and cake. Treat yourself to freshly baked scones, Victoria sponge, and hot drinks, available for purchase.

Entry is by gold coin donation, with all proceeds supporting the National Trust’s work in conserving Victoria’s heritage.
