Preserving your Oral History and Family Stories (Glenroy)

Nina Fromhold, Founder of Memory Lane Life Stories will guide us through a workshop about recording and preserving your family's stories

Few things are more precious than the voice of someone you love, telling a great story about something that matters to them. It’s even more special when you can’t sit and talk together anymore. Our family history connects us across generations.

Join us for a workshop with Nina Fromhold, Founder of Memory Lane Life Stories who will guide you through a workshop about recording and preserving your family’s oral history and stories. She will provide practical tips for participants to create do-it-yourself intergenerational interviews and recordings. The workshop will look at why family history matters, the legacy of oral histories and family stories, how to set up intergenerational interviews and recordings and how to write great questions for an interview and get started. This will be an interactive workshop, so come prepared for some thinking, writing and talking.
