Lancefield Town Walk – Unearthing Places, People and Stories
The Lancefield Mechanics' Institute invite you on a walking tour of Lancefield to discover the township's early history and uncover layers over time.
From a village that grew on Deep Creek to the present day town, we will unearth stories and people along the way, revealing some objects discovered recently in local building works.
The tour will finish at the Lancefield Mechanics’ where tour participants can enjoy a delicious afternoon tea.
