Behind the scenes at The Embroiderers Guild, Victoria
The Embroiderers Guild, Victoria will be throwing open our doors , for two special open days. We hold sensational collections of textiles, lace, embroidered tools, vintage sewing books plus our own archives. Not normally on display we will set up special exhibitions for the public.
Visit the guild and see the amazing range of modern and contemporary textiles from our extensive collection. Our lace drawers will be brought out, history of the guild will be displayed, plus needlework tools. Lots of friendly members will be on hand to answer your questions, plus a huge communal table will be set up with supplies if you wish to have a sit and sew. In addition there will be an exhibition in our gallery of members’ treasures for viewing. Come and see our fabulous collections not normally on show to the public.
