Recognising excellence in heritage and cultural tourism, three National Trust properties shine as finalists in the 2024 Victorian Tourism Awards.
The National Trust of Australia (Victoria) has achieved remarkable recognition, with three of its iconic properties named as finalists in the prestigious 2024 Victorian Tourism Industry Council (VTIC) Tourism Awards.
This marks the first time the National Trust has participated in the awards since 2018, and the results are a testament to the exceptional dedication and professionalism of its teams and volunteers.
The finalists include:
- Old Melbourne Gaol in the Major Attractions category, celebrated for its immersive historical storytelling and visitor experiences.
- Pentridge Prison Tours in the Cultural Tourism category, recognised for its unique exploration of justice and reform in Australia’s history.
- Botanica Festival at Rippon Lea Estate in the Festivals & Events category, applauded for its vibrant celebration of sustainability.
The Victorian Tourism Awards represent the pinnacle of excellence in the industry, honouring organisations that exceed standards and deliver exceptional visitor experiences. Winners and finalists are selected based on achieving a score of 70% or higher, demonstrating the high calibre of competition.
