National Trust Casey Cardinia Branch Committee Reactivated

Having been without a formal committee for several years, the newly elected Branch committee will serve as the voice of the National Trust in the Casey Cardinia region, working to conserve, interpret, and celebrate places of natural, historic, and cultural significance throughout the area.

The committee brings together diverse skills and experience, united by a shared commitment to heritage conservation and community engagement in the Casey Cardinia region. The committee membership includes new faces and experienced volunteers from the Branch who maintain the Casey Cardinia Heritage Centre and shop in Pioneers Park, Berwick. 

Collette Brennan, CEO of the National Trust of Australia (Victoria), congratulated the committee members on their election:

“The formation of the Casey Cardinia Branch Committee represents an exciting re-launch for heritage advocacy in the region. I commend these volunteers for their dedication to serving the National Trust and their local community.” 

The Casey Cardinia Branch welcomes community members who share an interest in heritage conservation to connect with the committee and participate in Branch activities throughout the year. Visitors can also drop in to the shop to find out more about the local area and work of the Branch. The Heritage Centre and shop is open between 10:00am and 3:00pm every day except Sundays at 1 Peel St, Berwick VIC 3806.
