Penola: Walk With History
With a colorful selection of 19th century properties and an abundance of fascinating stories to share, Penola has long been a popular destination for visitors to the South East. Home to Australia’s first saint Mary MacKillop, and with strong ties to the Coonawarra wine industry for which the South East is so well known, the Limestone Coast’s oldest inland town is a beautiful place to explore.

Burra Unlocked
Copper was key to South Australia’s colonial development, and the ‘Monster Mine’ of Burra was at the heart of our first mining boom. Go underground to the miners’ dugouts and Old Unicorn Brewery, break into the famous Redruth Gaol and explore the unique buildings and stories of this remarkably preserved mining town.
