A new federal funding boost has revitalised the visitor experience at Rippon Lea mansion.

In 2015 the National Trust of Australia (Victoria) received a Protecting National Historic Sites grant of $895, 860 through the Department of Environment for the National Heritage Listed Rippon Lea House and Garden for the Stables Precinct and Cultural Hub Development. The works undertaken as part of grant involved the Stables Complex, the Servant and Tower Wing of the Mansion and the construction of a new Amenities Building.

The works have improved the visitor experience at the site, have involved essential conservation works to the Stables Complex and Mansion, better utilise the Stables Complex as part of the site experience, have opened up new areas of the Mansion to visitors, provide new interpretation of the site including the Aboriginal history and improve staff and volunteer facilities at the site.
