New Australian Heritage Strategy launched

The new Australian Heritage Strategy has been officially launched today in a ceremony at the Sydney Opera House by the Minister for Environment, Greg Hunt.

The Australian Government today released the Australian Heritage Strategy, the first national strategy for the management of Australia’s magnificent heritage for the next ten years.

It sets in place a series of concrete actions to ensure that our magnificent heritage places are protected for future generations. These are based on national leadership, strong partnerships and engaged communities.

All input from stakeholders is appreciated in helping to shape the Strategy.
