We hope you can join us for our first Heritage Conversation for 2021. This is a joint event with WA Museum Boola Bardip, taking place in its iconic Hackett Hall.
The opening of WA Museum Boola Bardip in November 2020 was the culmination of years of work. It was also a highlight in Western Australia’s cultural calendar, which had been marred by COVID closures and cancellations.
Holding extensive scientific and cultural collections, Boola Bardip is a place to share Western Australia’s many stories. Our March Heritage Conversation takes you into the museum and behind the scenes to learn more about the processes involved in pulling together such an ambitious project, the trials and tribulations along the way and the final triumph.
Alec Coles OBE, Western Australian Museum CEO, and Trish McDonald, New Museum Project Director, will be in conversation with National Trust CEO Julian Donaldson on Tuesday 16 March as they explore the journey that has brought us Boola Bardip.
Date: Tuesday 16 March 2021
Event location: Hackett Hall, WA Museum Boola Bardip, Perth Cultural Centre
Cost to attend: NTWA Members/WA Museum Members $15pp. General Admission $20pp. Prices do not include booking fees.
The evening will include light refreshments.
