A National Trust membership is more than a standard membership.

Members of the National Trust become experience seekers, travellers, discoverers, connectors and DIY-ers all while giving to a great cause.

Vanessa O’Brien joined in 2019 and became National Trust member before “touring the UK last year where there are numerous National Trust properties and gardens every way you turn. Our membership gave us reciprocal visiting rights which was well worth it…Now that we are back home, it is our intention to visit as many National Trust properties as we can.”

The National Trust cares for more than 60 significant heritage places in Western Australia. Your membership goes towards initiatives that protect these places and research that discovers stories of the people that made Western Australia what it is today.

As Alex Smith said “I believe in preserving our heritage. I personally get a thrill out of exploring preserved buildings and reading about the stories and history that go with them. We are very fortunate to have an organisation like the National Trust to help in preserving our culture and history.” – joined 2016.

Please note, membership of the National Trust of Western Australia is open only to residents of Western Australia.

While we cannot post membership cards overseas or interstate, there are National Trusts across Australia and internationally. See the International National Trusts Organisation website for more details about joining your local National Trust.
