The National Trust of Western Australia has planned a community event on Saturday, 23 February to re-launch Ellensbrook following significant conservation and interpretation works, supported by Lotterywest.
Following an invitation only morning tea for Traditional Owners, the main event will begin with a welcome to country and formalities leading into a community day with a variety of activities and food and beverage options for locals and visitors from 12pm – 4pm. The day will have a low key family friendly atmosphere but will also cater to independent travellers.
The National Trust is now accepting expressions of interest from interested community and commercial stallholders who wish to participate on the day.
Event organisers will choose relevant stallholders that fit the purpose of the day and meet event requirements. Event organisers are looking for a mix of businesses in the following areas.
- Community food stalls
- Commercial food stalls
- Community produce/product stalls
- Commercial produce/product food stalls
