Changemakers: A travelling exhibition from the Museum of Australian Democracy
This small but powerful exhibition draws on the history of textile banners as artefacts used for activism. It shows how ‘crafting’ – traditionally considered women’s work – can be used for political expression and social change.

Harvey Museum
Harvey Museum is located in the old 1936 Railway Station. It's claim to fame is being depicted as Subiaco Railway Station in the film "A Fortunate Life" by AB Facey. This old building houses many historical collections and memorabilia of the pioneers in the districts of the Shire of Harvey.
Bower Birds and Magpies: Gold and metal
Since earliest civilisations, gold and metal have been used to embellish articles of dress for royalty to the church. Goldwork displayed wealth, power and leadership. An exhibition of items from the Embroiderers' Guild Collection and the speaker's private collection will compliment the talk.
