‘Stories from the Inside’ – life inside a youth prison

A documentary produced in a maximum security youth prison in Melbourne

The National Trust of Australia (Victoria) is proud to host a screening of ‘Stories from the Inside.’ This 30 minute documentary was filmed, edited and directed by first time offenders in a maximum security prison.

See the documentary in the Old Magistrate’s Court at the Old Melbourne Gaol. This screening will be followed by a Q & A with Anne Hooker, the unit manager of the prison Youth Unit where this film was made. The documentary aims to stop other young people from making the same mistakes.

Please note this event will be held in the former Magistrate’s Court, enter via Russell St – a part of the Old Melbourne Gaol precinct.
