Sowing Seeds by Kaleidoscope

“Sowing Seeds” is an exhibition by Kaleidoscope, a group of textile artists whose different works combine to create a display you have to see to believe.

Sowing Seeds, a new textile art exhibition, features incredible works by five local artists dedicated to expressing their creativity through textiles and colour. The combined works create a visual kaleidoscopic experience that is not to be missed. The group’s connection spans a decade or more. Drawing on a collective fabric history, they inspire each other to create contemporary works of art, that stand together and alone.

“Our art demonstrates the organic nature of our work using all manner and variety of textile media, as mentioned above. The theme for this exhibition will reference the gardens at Everglades as we take inspiration from the Blue Mountains environment in our art work.”

This creative representation of nature will comprise of different styles including framed textiles, wearable art and three dimensional pieces.

Featuring works by: Petal Davies, Ellen King, Mandy McAlister, Barb Morris & Barbara Veitch
