Join the Sydney City Skywatchers in the gardens at Lindesay as we look towards the sky to celebrate the iconic Apollo moon landing.
On 20 July 1969, the Eagle module from Apollo 11 landed at Tranquility Base. The mission is remembered by stargazers all over the world.
Join members of the Sydney City Skywatchers and a surprise guest speaker who will share their knowledge and insights on this iconic moment in history at this very special evening event held in historic surrounds. Mercury, Mars, Venus and a lovely little crescent Moon in the North West sky can be seen after sunset.
A glass of wine and canapés will be served on the lawns.
