School holidays at Old Government House: Cross Stitch for Children

Introduce your children to the absorbing craft of cross stitch as they recreate the designs of Jane Marlow Ward and Jane Harris, two nine year old girls whose samplers are on display in the Women of Distinction exhibition.

Each child will be given a token onto which they can stitch their chosen design. Templates, instructions and all materials will be provided. Once complete, children can take their token home to use as a key ring decoration.  We recommend this activity for children aged between seven and twelve. Children must be supervised by an adult.
