After 2020 cancelled the event, a selection of NSW school students’ interpretation of what reconciliation means to them, is finally able to be seen at Brough House.
The Friends of Grossmann House are proud to be hosting the School’s Art Exhibition from Reconciliation NSW which is the result of the Schools’ Reconciliation Challenge from 2019. After the wonderful exhibition held in 2019, and the cancellations of 2020, we look forward to this superb exhibition again where our young people show what Reconciliation means to them. We welcome the opportunity to bring to the wider community from the Hunter area an exhibition which helps to raise understanding of the diverse history of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
The exhibition will also help celebrate the significance of NAIDOC in the Maitland area.
- The exhibition is available to view every weekend between 26 June and 22 August 2021.
- Exhibition is free with general admission ticket.
- Booking is not necessary, but can be done in advance via Eventbrite (sessions will become available closer to the event launch).
- Enquiries: Please call Holly McNamee via 02 4933 3330.
