Discover how Charles Joseph La Trobe, Victoria's First Governor, lived with his family in early Melbourne

All welcome to explore and discover La Trobe’s Cottage every Sunday from October 2017 to May 2018.

Visitors will learn how Charles Joseph La Trobe, Victoria’s first Governor and a keen botanist, lived with his family in early Melbourne on their garden estate at Jolimont, as well as the role La Trobe had in setting up the framework of modern Victoria as a visionary administrator.

Tickets are available at the door and bookings are not required.
