Olivewood : “Women of the River Country” Exhibition

Come along to the public launch on 30th April at 2pm with afternoon tea - gold coin admission.

“Women of the River Country” exhibition will be opened by Renmark Paringa Mayor Neil Martinson with speakers Deb Alexander Executive Officer of the Mannum Dock Museum and Rosemary Gower, historian of Cobdogla on 30th April at 2pm with afternoon tea – gold coin admission.

 

“Women of the River Country” exhibition, on loan from the Mannum Dock Museum, is on display at the Olivewood Homestead museum. This exhibition features 19 unique women from 3 states with powerful connections to the river. Capt. Pearl Wallace, indigenous singer/songwriter Ruby Hunter and pioneer/author Ella Chaffey all have links to Renmark. There are also tributes to 10 Riverland women.

Cost: Adults $7, Conc. $5, Family $15 and Children $3

Please note: on any Tuesday or Wednesday the museum is open by appointment only
