National Trust (NSW) Annual General Meeting 2024

The National Trust (NSW)'s 2024 Annual General Meeting provides members with the opportunity to engage with the Board of Directors.

National Trust (NSW) members are invited to attend the Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Saturday 30 November 2024.

Attendees can participate in person at the S. H. Ervin Gallery or online. This is a fantastic opportunity to join in from any location.

Members will hear the President’s report on the last 12 months and the 2024 Board of Directors election results. Recipients of the National Trust Honours Awards for 2024 will also be announced.

The AGM will conclude with an exciting presentation on the National Trust Strategic Plan, plus a special viewing of significant items from the National Trust collection.

To finish, drinks and canapés will be served.

 

Agenda for the day:

  1. Welcome, proxies, apologies and adoption of 2023 AGM minutes.
  2. Receipt and consideration of the report of the Board of Directors for year ending 30 June 2024.
  3. Receipt and consideration of the Audited Consolidated Statement of Profit and Loss, Statement of Financial Position and Directors Report and Declaration for the year ending 30 June 2024.
  4. Appointment of the Auditors for the 2024/25 Financial Year.
  5.  Announcement of the 2024 Board of Directors Election results.
  6. National Trust Honours Awards 2024 announcement.
  7. Any proposed resolution in accordance with the National Trust of Australia (NSW) Act 1990 and its Rules.*
  8. Other business.*

*Pursuant to the National Trust of Australia (NSW) Rules, Rule 16.5 states: any Member who wishes to put forward: a proposed resolution to be considered at the annual general meeting must forward to the Office by 31 August a notice in writing signed by at least 20 Members, which states the exact words of the proposed resolution; any business (other than a proposed resolution) for discussion at the annual general meeting shall forward to the Office no later than 6 Business Days before the date of the annual general meeting a notice in writing signed by the Member stating the general nature of the business for discussion. It will be at the absolute discretion of the Chairperson of the annual general meeting whether discussion of any business of which such notice has or has not been given will be permitted.
