National Trust Day: Glenfern

See inside one of the Trust’s quietest places!

In our 60th year we should remember that, whilst Robin Boyd was a founding member of the National Trust in Victoria, his familial connection extends much further.

Our houses Como and Mulberry Hill are both Boyd related but it is our East St Kilda Boyd family home, Glenfern, that is central to them all. Arthur Merric Boyd grew up at the National Trust property Glenfern in Caulfield East, now a successful arts hub for writers in partnership with Writers Victoria. This significant picturesque gothic house will open so visitors may see the historical drawing room and listen to performances by the Team of Pianists (from 1pm- 2pm), also based at Glenfern.
