Mother’s Day Delights at Grossmann House

For a special Mother’s Day treat, take an intriguing tour through historic Grossmann House and enjoy homemade delectables in the garden.

Offering a unique historical twist on the classic celebrations, Mother’s Day at Grossmann House is a special experience.

Join our knowledgeable guide as you tour historic Grossmann House, Maitland’s fully restored 1870 Victorian house museum, and be transported to times gone by.

A delightful array of homemade savory and sweet treats, delicious finger sandwiches, refreshing fruit, tea, brewed coffee and juice will be set out for you to enjoy, and a celebratory glass of sparkling wine will be made available upon your arrival in the beautiful gardens of Brough House.

Built by Isaac Beckett, a prosperous Maitland merchant, Grossmann House is situated in the historic precinct of Church Street. Its twin, Brough House, was built by business partner Samuel Owens. For many years both properties were part of the Maitland Girls’ High School complex.

Tickets include entry, guided tour and Victorian-style delights and refreshments.
