The volunteers of Miss Traill's House and Garden are decking the halls in preparation for the popular “A Traditional Night Before Christmas” celebration.
Now in its 25th year, “A Traditional Night Before Christmas” is guaranteed to put you in the festive mood!
Once again this year, the Carillon Show Band will lead the crowd in our best-loved Christmas carols. For the children, there will be Christmas craft activities, fun games and a visit from Santa with his sack full of surprises.
You can purchase a BBQ steak or sausage sandwich; and there will be wine, beer and soft drinks available for purchase. You can also bring your own picnic.
While the entertainment will be in the award-winning garden and adjoining paddock, the National Trust owned property (built in 1845) will be open to the public with the House decorated for a traditional Christmas. The National Trust shop located inside Miss Traill’s house will be open and is stocked with a range of unique gifts for some very special Christmas shopping. Tickets in the Monster Raffle will be selling as well and drawn on the night.
“A Traditional Night Before Christmas” is one of the most popular Christmas events held in Bathurst. Bring your family and friends along for a wonderful evening of family fun to celebrate Christmas and the holiday season. (Please note that this is a special fundraising event, so NT members do not have free access.)
