The Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries Costume Exhibition has now closed. Thank you to everyone that supported this fabulous event.
The National Trust of Australia Queensland would like to thank everyone that supported the Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries Costume Exhibition.
A special thank you to the Miss Fisher Volunteer Attendants who made the commitment to work the many shifts required to keep this exhibition open to the public, 7 days per per week over 52 days.
169 people volunteered 3,200 hours as an attendant over the course of the exhibition, covering over 800 shifts. The exhibition attracted over 15,600 visitors, with an average 301 visitors attending each day.
This demonstrates our volunteers make a significant impact on the successful outcome of the exhibition.

The National Trust of Australia Queensland (NTAQ) and QUT in association with Every Cloud Productions invites you to step into Old Government House and immerse yourself in the opulent 1920s world of the Honourable Miss Phryne Fisher and her crime fighting associates. Based on the novels of acclaimed Australian author Kerry Greenwood, the Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries series has captured the imagination of Australia.
This brand new exhibition features fabulous costumes from Series Three as designed by 2015 AACTA Award winner Marion Boyce. See the outfits worn by Phryne Fisher (Essie Davis) and her associates up close – including Detective Inspector Jack Robinson (Nathan Page) and Aunt Prudence (Miriam Margolyes). Walk through the different sets and touch and feel the sumptuous fabrics as you delve deeper into Phryne’s world. Go behind the scenes to discover the inspiration for the costumes and understand how they were made. You’ll even get the chance to design your own dress.
