Lotterywest Heritage Conversation: ‘Cop That’

Join us for a special Lotterywest Heritage Conversation, ‘Cop That’, delivered by the Hon Robert (Bob) Kucera APM, followed by refreshments.

The Hon Robert (Bob) Kucera APM was a highly decorated Police Officer and retired from his position as Assistant Commissioner of Police in WA in 2001 after a 34-year career in the Police Service.

Politics then beckoned and Bob was elected to State Parliament as the member for Yokine in the Legislative Assembly. He served in the Cabinet as Minister for highly regarded portfolios including Health, Small Business, Tourism, Sport and Recreation and various social service ministries.

Since retiring from politics, Bob has continued to contribute to our state. He serves on multiple boards and committees and is the current Council Chair of the National Trust of Western Australia.

Always an engaging speaker, Bob has kindly agreed to share a selection of ‘tongue in cheek’ stories about his policing escapades from 1966 through to 2001.

The talk will take place in the Annexe with refreshments to follow the talk.

Doors open at 5.45 pm and free on-site parking is available.

This event is part of the Western Australian Heritage Festival, supported by Lotterywest.
