Celebrate Maitland Heritage Fest with a visit to historic Grossmann House, open for special tours, and neighbouring Brough House.
The historic precinct of Church Street Maitland will come alive on Sunday 18 June as the Maitland Heritage Fest celebrates the city’s rich and diverse history.
Grossmann House will be open for tours led by suitably dressed guides at the discounted rate of $5 per head for this day only, and refreshments will be on offer to be enjoyed in the relaxing gardens.
Brough House will be open also for a look at what is happening in the Fibre Maker’s Space upstairs, as well as a fascinating art exhibition downstairs. This exhibition will be the result of the 3 month residency the artist has spent with the Grossmann Collection and gardens providing much of the inspiration
Church Street, and other areas will be buzzing with displays, tours, and entertainment all on a heritage theme, and we hope you’ll join us to celebrate!
